I am a multidisciplinary designer who specializes in the brand experience for print, digital, and environmental formats.
My passion is to originate, develop, and implement visually creative and memorable solutions for clients in the areas of art, education, health, human rights, environment, culture, media, technology, law, retail, and others.
My work results in conceptual and accessible deliverables which are achieved through in-depth project analysis, critical thinking and constructive collaboration with clients, project managers, designers, developers, brand strategy, and production teams.
At my most recent full-time position, I have worked as a Global Senior Creative Manager in the in-house Brand Team at one of the world's largest law firms. In this role, along with the responsibility to review and improve the Dentons brand, I was also managing a team of 12 designers around the world who helped maintain the project workflow in a fast paced and demanding environment. In collaboration with internal teams, freelancers, external contractors, and production vendors, I was also privileged to lead and oversee the design process on a couple of large-scale global events with 1K+ attendees. During this process, I actively participated in meetings with the Global Chairman and Global CEO to understand their vision and to provide conceptual creative solutions which align with their vision for both live stage presentations and signage throughout the events.
After and prior to my full-time employment, I have been freelancing as a Design Director for nonprofit organizations and consulting agencies on a wide range of projects with focus in different industries.
My freelance client list includes Global Citizen, Brooklyn Ballet, Hearing Health Foundation, Three Furies, Van Leeuwen, Curated Home and Living, Art Intelligence, Expeditionary Learning, Morrison Health, Out Leadership, Room to Grow, Public Works Partners, Kaufman Music Center, Nepszava Szabadcsag – American Hungarian Newspaper, HR Certified Institute, Dentons, Hughes Hubbard & Reed, Augusta Street Kitchen, and more.
Prior to becoming a freelance graphic designer, I had worked at several well known design agencies such as Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Carbone Smolan Agency, and Pentagram New York, where I had the privilege to collaborate with high-profile designers like Woody Pirtle, Michael Bierut and Lisa Strausfield. Accounts included Amnesty International, American Folk Art Museum, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA), Museum of Sex, Barnes & Noble and W. L. Gore.
My heritage is of Hungarian-Romanian descent and I was born and raised in a small picturesque village in Transylvania, Romania. After my family moved to the United States, I studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City where I received my BFA in graphic design in 2002. Currently, my family and I live in Montclair, NJ.
